Here at Birch Creek Trout Fishery we raise top quality brookies, browns, rainbows, palominos and steelhead. We sell to supermarkets, restaurants, clubs, organizations and landowners. Birch Creek Trout Fishery is one of the largest privately owned trout hatcheries in Pennsylvania. Our high protein trout feeding program gives us larger trout in a shorter period of time. You will not get that liver pellet taste from our trout and fatter fish than ours are very hard to come by. From our hatch-house to the raceways, we do it better. The trout at Birch Creek do not stay in raceways. Our staff moves the trout to ponds to finish their growing cycle, allowing them to achieve their maximum size.Mot hatchery-raised trout will have fin rubs from the rough surfaces of the raceway and are unsightly. Our trout have better fin structure and our tanks are designed to prevent this rubbing and damage. We are proud to present our customers with a better quality product. When you need trout call us!
